About the Role
We’re seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Operations & Admin Support volunteer to help keep internal workflows smooth, organized, and efficient. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys behind-the-scenes support work and wants to play a meaningful role in growing a high-impact initiative.
As an Operations & Admin Support volunteer, you’ll assist with scheduling, internal documentation, light reporting, inbox management, and general coordination. You’ll work closely with our leadership team to ensure nothing falls through the cracks — and help us scale with intention.
This is a volunteer position, great for someone looking to build nonprofit operations experience, gain exposure to cross-functional work, and make a real difference from day one.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Admin Support
Schedule meetings, send reminders, and manage basic calendar coordination
Monitor and respond to shared inboxes with provided templates
Help prepare internal reports or partner updates (copy/paste, formatting, etc.)
Update task boards, SOP trackers, and internal timelines as needed
Operations & Project Support
Assist with organizing Notion pages, shared folders, and documentation
Create checklists or templates to improve internal workflows
Support data cleanup, deduplication, or tagging across internal systems
Help track volunteer hours, form responses, or internal KPIs
Communications & Logistics
Draft simple messages or updates for internal teams or volunteers
Maintain rosters, contact lists, and onboarding materials
Organize meeting notes and action items for internal syncs
Support ad hoc research, outreach, or follow-up requests
Qualifications
Reliable, detail-oriented, and responsive
Strong communication and time management skills
Comfortable using Google Workspace, Notion, Zoom, and other simple tools
Able to take direction, follow processes, and work independently
Prior admin or operations experience a plus but not required
