About the Role

We’re seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Operations & Admin Support volunteer to help keep internal workflows smooth, organized, and efficient. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys behind-the-scenes support work and wants to play a meaningful role in growing a high-impact initiative.

As an Operations & Admin Support volunteer, you’ll assist with scheduling, internal documentation, light reporting, inbox management, and general coordination. You’ll work closely with our leadership team to ensure nothing falls through the cracks — and help us scale with intention.

This is a volunteer position, great for someone looking to build nonprofit operations experience, gain exposure to cross-functional work, and make a real difference from day one.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities


Admin Support

  • Schedule meetings, send reminders, and manage basic calendar coordination

  • Monitor and respond to shared inboxes with provided templates

  • Help prepare internal reports or partner updates (copy/paste, formatting, etc.)

  • Update task boards, SOP trackers, and internal timelines as needed


Operations & Project Support

  • Assist with organizing Notion pages, shared folders, and documentation

  • Create checklists or templates to improve internal workflows

  • Support data cleanup, deduplication, or tagging across internal systems

  • Help track volunteer hours, form responses, or internal KPIs


Communications & Logistics

  • Draft simple messages or updates for internal teams or volunteers

  • Maintain rosters, contact lists, and onboarding materials

  • Organize meeting notes and action items for internal syncs

  • Support ad hoc research, outreach, or follow-up requests


Qualifications

  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and responsive

  • Strong communication and time management skills

  • Comfortable using Google Workspace, Notion, Zoom, and other simple tools

  • Able to take direction, follow processes, and work independently

  • Prior admin or operations experience a plus but not required
